following are among the most
asked questions from parents
new to the Ajax United Soccer
Club. If you have any questions
that are not listed here,

QWhat
age do children begin playing
at?
AChildren
in the AUSC can play from
the U4 level (The child must
be turning four between Jan.
1 and Dec. 31 of that year.)
all the way up to the U-18
level.9
All
players must play within
their appropriate age level.
In some cases, players have
the option of playing up
a level, but under no circumstances
is an older player to play
on a younger team.

QWhat
is included in the Registration
fee?
AAll
player will receive a jersey,
shorts, socks, ball, photograph
and a trophy.

QWhat
type of equipment do I
need to buy?
AShinpads
and soccer shoes are not included
in the registration fee. Shinpads
are a mandatory piece of equipment.
Soccer shoes are used by all
players but are not mandatory.

QHow
long is the season?
AOur
season runs from June to September.
|

QWhere
will the games be held?
AAll
micro, mini and houseleague
games are held on various
fields in Ajax. Competitive
teams will play their home
games in Ajax but their away
game will depend on the teams
in their league.

QHow
often will practices be
held?
APractice
are normally held once per
week, but players playing
at higher levels should expect
to be practicing more often.

QWhat
type of experience will
the coach have?
AAll
AUSC coaches are volunteers
and have varying levels of
experience. The AUSC has a
very specific code of conduct,
by which all Coaches are expected
to abide. All the Coaches take
part in training to upgrade
their coaching skills which
are offered by the clubs Head
Coach. Coaches have the opportunity
to achieve certification in
Levels I,2 and 3.

QWhen
are games played?
AGames
are played once per week
from Monday to Friday. Schedules
will be posted once teams
are finalized.

QHow
will I know what team my
child is on?
AParents
should receive a call from
the coach in May. If you do
not receive a call from
the coach, please contact
us stating your child's name
and date of birth, at (905)
